Foo Fighters's Dave Grohl tours and a new album 2011

Foo Fighters member Dave Grohl's is to receive NME's Godlike Genius award next month, a new album this main tour spent with the Foo Fighters and a cameo in the new Muppets film.

Foo Fighters new album "massive" Grohl has described, it is the follow-up to 2007's Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, is set for release in Spring.

He said: ''There's 11 songs and front to back there's not one sleepy ballad. It's different to any other Foo Fighters album because it just sounds big. It was really inspiring."

According to a post that The Foo Fighters finished work on their seventh studio album today.

The post said, "Ladies and gentlemen ... we are officially done. Champagne, anyone?"

The poster have also revealed the frontman Dave Grohl holding a bottle of bubbly with band and staff.

The as-yet-untitled 11-song album, due out in the spring via RCA Records, marks the follow-up to 2007's "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace." Four new songs -- "Back + Forth," "White Limo," "Dear Rosemary" and "These Days" -- were previewed during a secret show in Los Angeles last month.

Dave Grohl claimed about Foo Fighter's album

Dave Grohl has claimed that he will released latest album in the few month from Foo Fighter.

According to the BBC report that Grohl told said,
"The process was so simple. It was really in my garage. You could put a mini van in there and that's it. The fact that we did it without any computers it was just really simple. It just sounds massive. It's different to any other Foo Fighters album because it just sounds big. It was really inspiring."

Grohl didn’t have any information about this album that who's first single or title, he said, “I don’t even know what the single is going to be. It’s hard to choose because it sounds like there’s more than one.”

Foo Fighters launched a modern contest

Foo Fighters after much effort finally his seventh studio is complete.

So now it’s time for a taste. Now in this album track "White Limo" you'll find a 10-second sample and if you’re one who likes making judgments off 10-second samples, then it certainly reveals Dave Grohl wasn’t kidding when he deemed the still untitled effort as the group’s “heaviest work to date.”

According to the news Foo Fighters have launched behind the album a pretty modern contest. The band wants to release the music videos for all 11 of the album’s tracks and is giving chance to the fans to create them.
